The first printed press in North America was first used in Mexico City in 1539.
Mexican children do not receive presents on Christmas Day. They receive gifts on January 6, the day on which Mexicans celebrate the arrival of the Three Wise Men.
Poinsettias are native to Mexico, and the Aztecs used to use the leaves of the plant’s sap for medicinal purposes, to control fevers and such. In addition, they used the colorful leaves as dye in order to make their clothing.
